Exceptional Sperm Donors
Our diverse, altruistic donors have consciously chosen to help families in need. All of our donors voluntarily contribute to help others achieve their dream of growing a family.
Our selection process identifies donors with appealing physical attributes, outstanding talents, and engaging personalities, while also ensuring diversity for our recipients.
Each donor undergoes an extensive screening process to ensure they are both physically and psychologically fit to contribute, with less than 5% of applicants being accepted into our program.
All our donors agree to release their identity to donor conceived persons at 18.

Our mission is to connect intended parents and donors while building meaningful connections.
With over 25 years of experience in the world of gestational surrogacy and donor conception, Coast to Coast Sperm Donation, LLC was founded to create a new type of sperm donation experience for both donors and recipient parents. Based in San Diego, CA, we proudly serve intended parents worldwide, helping individuals and families find the right donor match through MySpermDonor.com to start or grow their families.
As a matching agency, we connect intended parents, clinics, and donors. Our clients include LGBTQIA+ couples, single parents by choice, and couples facing male-factor infertility.
We carefully recruit a diverse selection of highly qualified sperm donors who meet the strict criteria of your fertility clinic. We get to know our donors and provide you with detailed profiles and photographs so you can learn about their background, interests, and personalities, to help you create a meaningful connection.

We focus on the well-being of donor-conceived individuals, with a commitment to ethics, transparency, and meaningful connections between donors, recipients, and children. Since true anonymity is unrealistic, all donors must agree to release their identity when the child turns 18. However, donors are not required to meet or support the child. Unlike most sperm banks, we limit matches to six families worldwide, giving donors and recipients greater control over family building.
A sperm donor must be at least 21 years old and no older than 38, with a normal BMI and a height of 5’8” or taller. He should have a healthy medical, mental health, and genetic family history. Donors must live a healthy lifestyle, avoid drugs or alcohol misuse, not smoke or vape, only take prescribed medications, and practice safe sex to prevent STDs. While not required, most intended parents prefer donors who are in college or have a college degree. Our donors represent a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
The cost of using a sperm donor depends on several factors. Agency, legal, and travel expenses vary based on the donor's location, pre-screening status, and legal requirements. Donors set their own compensation, which typically ranges between $5,000 and $10,000, plus additional expenses if the donor needs to travel. Medical and clinic costs, such as donor screening and procedures at your fertility clinic, also depend on the services provided by your chosen clinic.
Any money collected for donor compensation is held in a separate trust account and is paid out in milestones, including pre-screening (sperm analysis, genetic, and psychological testing), travel, completion of donation, and final FDA screening. We facilitae negotiations but final decisions about compensation are made by the donor and intended parents. Donor compensation is not tied to the success of the outcome.
After requesting access to our donor database, you can begin the donor hold and matching process to secure the perfect donor for your needs. Here’s how it works:
1. Submit a Temporary Hold Request via DocuSign. Donors remain “Available” until the hold is confirmed.
2. Provide copies of IDs or passports to confirm legal names.
3. Pay a $1,000 hold deposit. The deposit is non-refundable unless the donor changes availability or is medically disqualified.
4. Use the 14-day hold period to review donation records, donor profile, or request a video call with the donor (if he agrees). Optional semen analysis can be requested for an additional cost.
5. Finalize all agency documents and pay the first installment of donation funds within the 14-day hold window.
6. Once documents and initial funds are received, match information is sent to the IVF center and attorneys to begin medical screening and legal contracts.
Our donors undergo an extensive screening process to ensure they are physically and psychologically qualified to become sperm donors. This process includes completing a detailed profile and questionnaire, providing photos of themselves and their family, submitting official test scores and transcripts, and verifying their identity with official documents. Additionally, the donor's final eligibility for sperm donation is determined by your IVF center through comprehensive genetic, medical, and psychological screenings. This thorough evaluation ensures that donors meet the highest standards for health and suitability.
We frequently update our online donor database by adding new donors and removing those who have either matched with their limit of families or decided to stop donating. To keep the information accurate, we only add new donors after they have completed their profiles, genetic and FDA questionnaires, provided photos, and verified their identity and education
Donors are not required to meet a child, but if this is important to you, we can discuss the possibility with the donor before matching. We believe it benefits donor-conceived individuals to have access to the donor's medical, genetic, and psychological information, so we request annual updates until the child turns 18. Studies show that having this information leads to better outcomes, and a meeting can be beneficial, but this decision is left to the donor and recipient.
We do not provide legal advice, but it is widely agreed that if a donation is completed through a physician and state laws are followed, the donor is not considered a legal parent and holds no financial responsibility for a child born from his donation. To ensure everyone involved is protected, each party will have legal representation throughout the process.
The term "anonymous" is now replaced with "non-identified" because true anonymity is no longer possible due to DNA testing, facial recognition, and online searches. Even a non-identified donor can be discovered later when the child reaches legal age. Simple DNA tests, like a cheek swab or blood draw, could identify you, your child, or other family members. We only works with donors and recipients who agree to identity release, and we encourage recipient parents to be open with their children about their genetic origins before they turn 18.
